CORONA
Chthonian, bestial Caliban. Mischievous, sprightly Ariel. Aloof, idealistic Prospero. Simplistic characters in a fable meant to reenchant our innocence? Irreconcilable temperaments contending within the human psyche? Ironic metaphors about the mysteries of being, beauty and invention? While such analogs seem relevant, another notion beckons beyond the conjurer's tempest. On the most primal level art would speak directly to and for the noumenal comprehension of that harmony, freedom and wonder that prevails beyond all our conscious meanings.
